Meet Lincy Thomas

The name of this firm reflects a simple idea. Building a life in this country and protecting what you build for the people you love are two chapters of the same story. American Dream Advocacy Group, PLLC exists to help families with both, whether that means securing lawful status, reuniting with a spouse or child, becoming a U.S. citizen, or putting a will and powers of attorney in place so your wishes are followed.

Lincy Thomas leads the firm, having earned a Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law and been licensed by the State Bar of Texas since 2008. That work spans representation before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the U.S. immigration courts (EOIR), along with estate matters under Texas law.

Immigration and estate planning may look like separate fields, but for many families they belong side by side. New permanent residents and naturalized citizens often want a will, a durable power of attorney, and clear instructions for their children. Estate clients frequently have relatives abroad or a family member with a pending immigration case. This is a solo practice on purpose. Irving and the wider Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex are home, and many clients are neighbors, coworkers, and referrals from people they trust. Immigration cases are federal, so that work is handled for clients nationwide. Estate planning and probate follow Texas law and center on North Texas. In every matter, the goal is the same: careful, honest work and a person you can actually reach.
