What to bring

  • Any letters, receipts, or notices you have received from USCIS, the immigration court (EOIR), or a consulate, including receipt or A-numbers and any I-797 notices.
  • Copies of the forms already filed in your case (for example an I-130, I-485, I-765, or N-400) and passports, visas, or prior immigration approvals for everyone involved.
  • A simple list of your major assets and how each is titled, such as your home, bank and retirement accounts, life insurance, and any business interests, so we can plan the right documents.
  • Names of the people you want to name as beneficiaries, executor or agent, or guardian for minor children, along with any existing will, power of attorney, or trust you may already have.
